تخلد موريتانيا غدا الذكرى الواحدة والستين لعيد الاستقلال الوطني المجيد في الثامن والعشرون من العام ستون تسعة مائة وألف، حيث نالت بلاد شنقيط استقلالها عن المستعمر الفرنسي لتعلن تأسيس الجمهورية الإسلامية الموريتانية.

ترأس رئيس الجمهورية، السيد محمد ولد الشيخ الغزواني، صباح اليوم الأحد بالقصر الرئاسي في نواكشوط، حفل رفع العلم الوطني. وذلك تخليدا للذكرى الـ61 لعيد الاستقلال الوطني.

وشح رئيس الجمهورية في حفل رفع العلم اليوم الأحد، عددا من الشخصيات التي توفيت مؤخرا ومن أبرزها السياسي الراحل محمد المصطفى ولد بدر الدين والراحل محمد أحمد السالك الملقب « باي بيخا ».
