تابعنا في المرصد الموريتاني لحقوق الإنسان في الفترة الأخيرة الكثير من التجاوزات في مجال حقوق الإنسان والحريات العامة، وهو ما من شأنه أن يقوض الحالة الحقوقية في البلد بشكل عام، وتتلخص أبرز تلك الخرقات فيما يلي:
ودع الموريتانيون مساء اليوم السبت السياسي الراحل محمد المصطفى ولد بدر الدين،بعد الصلاة عليه في جامع «ابن عباس» بالعاصمة الموريتانية نواكشوط، وسط حضور مهيب لأصدقاء الراحل ومحبيه، وكافة أطياف المجتمع.
قال رئيس البرلمان الموريتاني الشيخ ولد بايه إن التلوث بالسيانيد وصل عمق 50 مترا في منطقة التعدين المرخصة لشركة "كينروس"، مذكرا بما تملكه الشركة من عدة وعتاد، ومتسائلا: "ماذا ننتظر من شركات صغيرة وسائل الوقاية فيها بدائية ومحدودة".
