قال رئيس مركز الدراسات والبحوث الإنسانية (مبدأ) محمد ولد سيد أحمد فال (بوياتي) إن التقارير الثلاثة الأخيرة الصادرة من بعض المراكز الأمريكية مجرد "ابتزاز موجه لموريتانيا وبعض دول المنطقة، ولاعلاقة لها بالواقع".

تراجع منتخب المرابطون مجددا ب 19 مركزا دفعة واحدة على قائمة التصنيف الشهري للمنتخبات الصادر عن الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم فيفا، حيث حل في المركز 115 عالميا، بعد أن كان في المركز 96 في تصنيف الشهر الماضي.
