قمة لقادة دول الساحل الخمس بنواكشوط حول التعليم

تحضر مجموعة دول الساحل الخمس لعقد قمة حول التعليم في العاصمة نواكشوط يوم الأحد المقبل 05 ديسمبر الجاري.

 

وجاء في بيان صادر عن مكتب إعلام الرئاسة الموريتانية أن القمة تهدف «إلى التذكير بأهمية التعليم الجيد لتنمية رأس المال البشري في المنطقة».

 

وأضاف «على مدى السنوات الـ 15 الماضية، ضاعفت بلدان منطقة الساحل عدد الملتحقين بالمدارس الابتدائية، كما ضاعفت ثلاث مرات عدد الملتحقين بالمدارس الثانوية. وعلى الرغم من هذا التقدم الكبير، لا تزال منطقة الساحل تواجه العديد من التحديات في توفير إمكانية حصول الجميع على التعليم والتعليم الجيد لجميع شباب المنطقة».

 

كما أشار إلى أنه: «سيتعين على هذه القمة أيضا أن تحشد الدعم المالي والسياسي لتنفيذ الإصلاحات والاستثمارات اللازمة لتحسين نوعية التعلم. وأخيرا، سترسم القمة خارطة طريق لتحسين الاستثمار في التعليم الابتدائي على مدى السنوات العشر المقبلة».
