موريتاني يواجه احتمال السجن مدى الحياة في الولايات المتحدة

وجه القضاء الأمريكي ستة تهم تتعلق بالإرهاب لمواطن موريتاني بينها قتل مواطنة أمريكية في العاصمة المالية باماكو سنة 2015. 

 

وأفاد بيان لوزارة العدل الأمريكية بأن المتهم المسمى فواز ولد أحمد ولد أحميد الملقب بإبراهيم إدريس، والبالغ من العمر 44 عاما مَثُلَ الجمعة أمام محكمة فيدرالية في المنطقة الشرقية لنيويورك حيث يواجه السجن مدى الحياة في حال إدانته بالتهم الموجهة إليه. 

 

وحسب الوزارة، فإن التهم الموجهة إلى ولد أحمد هي قتل المواطنة الأمريكية أنيتا أشوك داتار خلال هجوم على فندق في باماكو سنة 2015، والاستخدام غير المشروع للأسلحة النارية، فيما يتعلق بجريمة عنف، والتسبب في وفاة أنيتا أشوك داتار باستخدام سلاح ناري.

 

كما اتهمته بالتآمر لتقديم دعم مادي لمنظمتين إرهابيتين أجنبيتين هما القاعدة في بلاد المغرب الإسلامي والمرابطون، إضافة إلى تهمة توفير ومحاولة تقديم دعم مادي لتنظيم القاعدة في بلاد المغرب الإسلامي والمرابطون، أما التهمة السادسة فهي الاستخدام غير المشروع للمتفجرات.

 

وتم نقل المواطن الموريتاني الخميس إلى نيويورك، وكان قبل ذلك معتقلا في دولة مالي، التي أكدت وزارة العدل الأمريكية في بيانها أنها قدمت الدعم والمساعدة المستمرين طوال هذا التحقيق.
