مسؤول رسمي يكشف حجم المخزون السنوي لمصايد أسماك السطح الصغيرة بموريتانيا

قال د. محمد ولد سيدى المكلف بمهمة بديوان وزير الصيد والاقتصاد البحري إن مخزون مصايد أسماك السطح الصغيرة تفوق سنويا "مليون طن".

 

وأوضح أن هذه المزية تمكن المصايد من لعب دور محوري فى محاربة الفقر وتوفير الأمن الغذائي وخلق فرص العمل.

 

وأدلى بهذا التصريح خلال لقاء اليوم حول نتائج تقييم مخزونات أسماك السطح الصغيرة وأساسيات الأنشطة خلال السنة الجارية.

 

وأوضح أن مصايد السطج الشاطئية الناشطة فى المنطقة الخالصة لموريتانيا شهدت تطورا ملحوظا فى تفريغ كميات معتبرة مما ساهم فى توطين هذه الثروة.
