قطر: نجاح المونديال نتاج عمل كبير دام 12 عاما

أكد مسؤولون قطريون أن نجاح بلادهم في تنظيم كأس العالم لكرة القدم 2022، هو نتاج عمل كبير استمر أكثر من 12 عاماً منذ فوز الدوحة بملف تنظيم المونديال.

 

جاء ذلك خلال إفادات منفصلة أدلوا بها لقناة "الكأس" المحلية، عقب ختام استضافة الدوحة للنسخة 22 من بطولة كأس العالم لكرة القدم.

 

وقال الشيخ محمد بن حمد آل ثاني، العضو المنتدب للجنة العليا للمشاريع والإرث إن "دولة قطر أوفت بالوعود والالتزامات التي قطعتها قبل تنظيم المونديال من خلال الكثير من المعايير المميزة التي سيستوعبها العالم بعد فترة طويلة من الزمن".

 

وأوضح ابن حمد أن "البطولة لبّت كل المعايير الخاصة بالتنظيم وأضافت لبطولات كأس العالم الكثير"، مشيرا أنها "كانت فرصة طيبة غيّرت الكثير من مفاهيم العالم حول منطقة الشرق الأوسط ".

 

وأضاف أن "مرحلة التنفيذ كانت الأصعب وأن الكفاءات القطرية قامت بعمل كبير وصنعت المستحيل من أجل تنظيم مبهر للبطولة".

 

من جانبه، قال حسن الذوادي، الأمين العام للجنة: "حوّلنا التحديات التي واجهت الملف القطري إلى إيجابيات، ومنذ 3 ديسمبر/ كانون الأول 2010 بدأت الحملات ضد قطر بعد الفوز بيوم واحد فقط".

 

وأشار الذوادي إلى أن "تنظيم البطولة في قطر فتح الآفاق لكثير من الجماهير في تحقيق حلمهم بحضور مباريات كأس العالم وكانت فرصة لتلاقي الثقافات".

 

ووفق الزوادي، فإن أبرز المشاكل التي كانت أمام الملف القطري هي "عدم الجدية في تقبّل تقديم قطر لملفها والاستماع لمسؤوليها، بسبب أن الملف مقدّم من دولة عربية وصغيرة".

 

وبدوره، قال ناصر الخاطر، الرئيس التنفيذي لبطولة كأس العالم 2022 إن "البطولة لم تشهد حدوث أي معوقات أمنية، كما أنها كانت ملتقى للثقافات في العالم وتميّزت بأنها آمنة وعائلية".

 

وتابع الخاطر: "كل البطولات السابقة في كأس العالم لم تشهد إقامة 4 مباريات في مدينة واحدة أو منطقة واحدة، وكان هذا من أصعب التحديات التي واجهت اللجنة".

 

وحول رؤية القيادة القطرية، قال ياسر عبد الله الجمال، المدير العام للجنة العليا للمشاريع والإرث: "إن متابعة قيادة الدولة لجميع تفاصيل عمل اللجنة كان الدافع لتحقيق النجاح والإنجاز في التنظيم".

 

وأوضح الجمال أن البطولة "أكسبت الكوادر القطرية القدرة على تنظيم بطولات أفضل في المستقبل في جميع المجالات".

 

واستضافت قطر النسخة 22 من البطولة العالمية التي أقيمت لأول مرة في دولة عربية وشرق أوسطية، ونجحت في إقامة مونديال استثنائي نال إعجاب قادة وجماهير العالم.

 

واستقبلت الدوحة أكثر من 1.4 مليون زائر من أنحاء العالم خلال "كأس العالم فيفا قطر 2022"، التي انطلقت منافساتها في 20 نوفمبر/ تشرين الثاني الفائت، واختتمت الأحد الماضي.
