دراسة حديثة تكشف عن مفتاح الصحة الخالية من الأمراض

أفادت دراسة جديدة أن البالغين الذين يحافظون على شرب الماء بشكل جيد يتمتعون بصحة أفضل، ويصابون بحالات مزمنة أقل، مثل أمراض القلب والرئة، ويعيشون أطول من الذين لا يحصلون على سوائل كافية.
وأجرى الدراسة معهد الصحة الوطنية بالولايات المتحدة، ونُشرت على موقع "مديكال إكسبريس”، واستخدمت بيانات صحية لـ 11255 شخصاً تم جمعها على مدى 30 عاماً، وفق "جفرا نيوز".
وحلل الباحثون الروابط بين مستويات الصوديوم في الدم، والتي ترتفع عندما ينخفض تناول السوائل، ومؤشرات صحية مختلفة.
ووجدوا أن البالغين الذين لديهم مستويات صوديوم أعلى من النطاق الطبيعي كانوا أكثر عرضة للإصابة بأمراض مزمنة، وإظهار علامات الشيخوخة البيولوجية، مقارنة بمن لديهم مستويات الصوديوم في الدم في نطاق متوسط.
كما أظهرت النتائج أن من لديهم مستويات أعلى من الصوديوم أكثر عرضة للوفاة في سن أصغر.
وقالت ناتاليا دميتريفا، المشرفة على الدراسة: "تشير النتائج إلى أن الترطيب المناسب قد يبطئ الشيخوخة ويطيل حياة خالية من الأمراض”.
