مرشحو المعارضة: الإخلال بشروط الشفافية يضر بتنظيم انتخابات نزيهة

قال وكلاء مرشحو المعارضة للانتخابات الرئاسية في موريتانيا، إن استمرار الإخلال بشروط الشفافية والنزاهة وحياد الإدارة ومهنية الإعلام يضر بتنظيم انتخابات نزيهة. وشدد الوكلاء في المؤتمر الصحفي اليوم الجمعة، على تصميمهم على منع التزوير وحماية حق الشعب في اختيار من يحكمه في الانتخابات الرئاسية، محملين ”المسؤولية الكاملة عن هذه الأفعال وما يترتب عليها“. وقالوا إن اللجنة الوطنية المستقلة للانتخابات قررت استبدال اللقاءات المباشرة بنقاشات عبر مجموعة واتساب.

معتبرين أن هذا القرار مؤشرًا مقلقًا لـ“عدم وجود رغبة صادقة في تحقيق انتخابات نزيهة“.

وأضاف الوكلاء أن اللجنة لم تستجب سوى لنقطة واحدة من اثني عشر نقطة أُثيرت في رسالتهم، مع مماطلة في تحقيق هذه النقطة المتعلقة بتوفير نسخة من اللائحة الانتخابية لتدقيقها قبل انقضاء فترة الطعون.

وأعربوا عن خشيتهم من أن تكون هذه المماطلة بهدف استنفاد وقت الطعون لتبرير عدم تنفيذ الإصلاحات اللازمة. كما أعرب الوكلاء عن قلقهم من حرمان النسبة الأكبر من الجاليات الموريتانية في الخارج من حقهم في التسجيل على اللائحة الانتخابية.

وأشاروا إلى أن عدم فتح مراكز للتسجيل وتقييد عملية التسجيل وعدم توفير الظروف المناسبة يحرم العديد من المواطنين من المشاركة في العملية الانتخابية.
