موريتانيا في معرض «غازتيك» بأمريكا لعرض فرصها في مجال الغاز

شاركت الحكومة الموريتانية في معرض «غازتيك» في مدينة هيوستن بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، المنظم تحت شعار “تسخير إمكانات وفرص الغاز الطبيعي لتسريع النمو الاقتصادي».

الحكومة ممثلة في وزير الطاقة والنفط محمد ولد خالد، قالت إنها تسعى من هذه المشاركة إلى «الترويج لمقدرات موريتانيا في قطاع الطاقة، خاصة مقدرات الحوض الساحلي والمقاطع التي تبين المعطيات الجيولوجية أهميتها من حيث التنقيب والاستخراج».

وحسب بيان للوزارة فإن المؤتمر يستمر طيلة أربعة أيام ويتناول استغلال الغاز واستخداماته والتحول الطاقوي والهيدروجين الأخضر.

وقالت الوزارة إن حقل بئر الله الغازي الذي يحتوي على مخزونيقدر بـ 60 تريليون قدم مكعب من الغاز الطبيعي، يأتي على رأس تلك المقاطع الغنية بالمحروقات. 

وأقامت الوزارة بالتعاون مع الشركة الموريتانية للمحروقات جناحا في المعرض، تقول إنه استقبل زيارة العديد من الفاعلين والمهتمين بمجال الطاقة وشكل «منصة للحديث عن موريتانيا كوجهة مستقبلية للاستثمارات».

وأكد بيان الوزارة أن موريتانيا تتصدر حاليا قائمة الدول التي «تحظى باهتمام متزايد من طرف المستثمرين ومطوري المشاريع حيث أقرّت قانونًا للهيدروجين الأخضر تمت المصادقة عليه من قبل البرلمان الأسبوع الماضي».

وتأتي مشاركة موريتانيا في مؤتمر إمكانات الغاز ودوره في تسريع النمو الاقتصادي في وقت تقترب فيه من بدء إنتاج الغاز من حقل السلحفاة آحميم الكبير،. وهو ما «سيعزز من مكانتها بعد إنضمامها لمنتدى الدول المصدرة للغاز الذي تقرر خلال القمة الرئاسية الأخيرة للمنتدى» وفق الوزارة.

وأضافت الوزارة أنه من المقرر أن يعقد وزير النفط محمد ولد خالد «العديد من اللقاءات والجلسات لمناقشة وعرض فرص الاستثمار واستغلال الغاز الطبيعي والهيدروجين الأخضر بموريتانيا».

وأوضحت أنه سبق أن التقى في ذات المناسبة مع كل من؛ جيوفري بيات، نائب وزير الخارجية الأمريكي مكلف بمكتب مصادر الطاقة (وكالة حكومية)، ومايك ويرث، الرئيس المدير التنفيذي لشركة شيفرون وعبد الكريم الغامدي، مدير قطاع الغاز بشركة آرامكو السعودية».

كما شارك الوزير في الجلسة الوزارية عالية المستوى تحت عنوان “الابتكار في السياسات لتمكين إزالة الكربون طبقا لمتطلبات أسواق الطاقة، إلى جانب نظرائه من الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية ونيجيريا ومصر وألمانيا والعراق وليبيا وهانغريا».
