الحكومة السنغالية: نحو 55 ألف شخص تضرروا من فيضان النهر

أكدت الحكومة السنغالية أن نحو 55 ألف شخص في 51 قرية و44 موقعا آخر، معظمها زراعي، تضرروا من فيضان نهر السنغال بعد هطول أمطار غزيرة.

وقال الوزير الناطق باسم الحكومة أمادو مصطفى ندييك ساريه، لوكالة فرانس برس السبت، إن الرئيس فاي، زار عددا من المناطق في باكيل.

وقال الرئيس السنغالي، باسيرو ديوماي فاي، على شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي، إن هدف زيارته للمناطق المنكوبة هو “إظهار تضامني وتضامن الحكومة والأمة بأسرها مع العائلات المتضررة”.

وأظهرت لقطات تلفزيونية وصور على شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي منازل ومدارس ومباني عامة وحقولا تحت المياه، وأشخاصا اضطروا إلى ترك منازلهم للانتقال إلى مواقع محمية من المياه.
