من هو نعيم قاسم الأمين العام الجديد لحزب الله الشيعي؟

عينت جماعة حزب الله اللبنانية الثلاثاء نعيم قاسم أمينا عاما لها خلفا لحسن نصر الله الذي اغتالته إسرائيل في سبتمبر/ أيلول. فمن هو الأمين العام الجديد للتنظيم الشيعي؟

نعيم قاسم هو شخصية مخضرمة في حزب الله شغل منصب نائب الأمين العام منذ عام 1991.

عُين نائبا للأمين العام في عهد الأمين العام السابق لحزب الله عباس الموسوي، الذي قُتل في هجوم بطائرة هليكوبتر إسرائيلية عام 1992، وظل في المنصب عندما تولى نصر الله قيادة الجماعة.

وبدأ نشاطه السياسي في حركة أمل الشيعية اللبنانية، التي تأسست عام 1974. وترك أمل عام 1979، في أعقاب الثورة الإسلامية الإيرانية، التي شكلت الفكر السياسي للعديد من الناشطين الشيعة اللبنانيين الشباب. وشارك في الاجتماعات التي أدت إلى تشكيل حزب الله، الذي أسسه الحرس الثوري الإيراني عام 1982.

وظل لفترة طويلة أحد المتحدثين البارزين باسم حزب الله، وأجرى العديد من المقابلات مع وسائل الإعلام الأجنبية. عندما احتدمت أعمال القتال عبر الحدود مع إسرائيل خلال الحرب في غزة، قال لقناة الجزيرة في يونيو/ حزيران إن قرار حزب الله هو عدم توسيع نطاق الحرب، ولكنه سيخوضها إذا فرضت عليه.

وكان منسقا عاما لحملات حزب الله الانتخابية البرلمانية منذ  خاضتها الجماعة لأول مرة في عام 1992.

ولد عام 1953 في منطقة البسطة التحتا في بيروت وتعود أصول عائلته إلى كفرفيلا، في جنوب لبنان ذي الأغلبية الشيعية. وهو متزوج ولديه ستة أطفال.
