وفد موريتاني ينسحب من مؤتمر بكولومبيا أثناء كلمة إسرائيل

انسحب وفد موريتانيا من جلسة مؤتمر أطراف اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة حول التنوع البيولوجي والتي انعقدت اليوم في كالي بكولومبيا، وذلك أثناء كلمة ممثل الكيان الإسرائيلي.

وغادر الوفد الموريتاني الذي يرأسه الأمين العام للوزارة مولاي إبراهيم ولد مولاي إبراهيم القاعة فور إحالة الكلام لممثل إسرائيل في المؤتمر.

وافتتح الاجتماع السادس عشر لمؤتمر الأطراف في اتفاقية التنوع البيولوجي يوم 21 أكتوبر الجاري في كولومبيا، ويستمر حتى فاتح نوفمبر، ويناقش القضايا الرئيسية المتعلقة بالتنوع البيولوجي البحري والساحلي، كما يحدد نظام الرصد والإبلاغ والتقييم لإطار كونمينغ - مونتريال العالمي للتنوع البيولوجي.

ودعا الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة أنتونيو غوتيرش خلال كلمته الثلاثاء العالم للخروج من "أزمته الوجودية" التي تتسبب في تدمير الطبيعة، مؤكدا أننا كل عام "نشهد ارتفاع درجات الحرارة أكثر وأكثر، وكل يوم نفقد أنواعا جديدة من الكائنات. وكل دقيقة نلقي حمولة شاحنة من النفايات البلاستيكية في محيطاتنا وأنهارنا وبحيراتنا.. هذه تحديدا هي الأزمة الوجودية.

ويشارك في الاجتماع ممثلون ومندوبون عن 196 دولة.
