وزير الزراعة: تحقيق السيادة الغذائية في موريتانيا هدف لا مناص منه

قال وزير الزراعة أمم ولد بيباته إن تحقيق السيادة الغذائية في موريتانيا لم يعد خيارًا بل أصبح هدفًا لا مناص من بلوغه.

جاء حديث الوزير خلال افتتاح النسخة الرابعة من المهرجان الدولي للتمور الموريتانية بمدينة كيفه.

وأشار الوزير إلى أن الحكومة اعتمدت برامج طموحة تهدف إلى زيادة الإنتاج كماً ونوعاً، وتعزيز قدرات الفاعلين في المجال الزراعي، سبيلاً لتحقيق الأمن الغذائي وتوفير احتياجات البلاد بالاعتماد على الموارد الوطنية.

وأضاف الوزير أن تنظيم هذا المهرجان يندرج ضمن هذه الرؤية، ويشكل مناسبة للتعريف بالتمور الموريتانية وإبراز قدراتها التنافسية، فضلًا عن كونه فضاءً لنقل المعرفة وتشجيع الابتكار الزراعي، ومناسبة لتعزيز السياحة الداخلية واستكشاف ما تزخر به ولاية لعصابه من مقومات ثقافية وتنموية.
