أكدت بعض المصادر لصحيفة "ميادين"، أن الرئيس الموريتاني محمد ولد عبد العزيز يكثف هذه الأيام، لقاءاته "الفردية" مع أعيان ووجهاء من مناطق مختلفة في موريتانيا.

وقالت ذات المصادر، إن بعض أركان نظام ولد عبد العزيز هم الذين يتولون مهمة تسهيل لقاءاته مع أولئك الأعيان والوجهاء، الذين يشد البعض منهم الرحال إلى نواكشوط، بهدف ذلك اللقاء، بينما يوجد آخرين في العاصمة وعلى ذلك يتم استقبالهم، وعقب اللقاء يفهم من خلال أحاديث بعض هؤلاء أن اللقاء كان "مثمرا"، خصوصا بالنسبة لأولئك الذين "يمرون" بمدير الديوان عقب تلك اللقاءات.

بعض المراقبين يعتقدون بان لقاءات ولد عبد العزيز مع الأعيان والوجهاء، تدخل في إطار "حملته" لـ"إقناعهم" بالمشاركة في الإستفتاء المرتقب على التعديلات الدستورية.
