اكتشاف نوع جديد من المضادات لعلاج الأمراض القاتلة

كتشف باحثون من معهد واكسمان لعلم الأحياء الدقيقة التابع لجامعة بوش في ولاية نيو جيرسي الأمريكية، نوعًا جديدًا من المضادات الحيوية مدفونة في الأوساخ.

حيث نجح الباحثون بتطوير تقنية خاصة لفرز التربة بهدف اكتشاف مضادات بكتيرية جديدة أكثر فاعلية من المعمول بها لعلاج الأمراض البشرية القاتلة.

وعثر الباحثون داخل التربة الإيطالية على مركب بسيودوريديميسين “ PUM ” والذي يقضي على البكتيريا النائمة بين طبقات الوحل المنتشرة على المكاتب ومقابض الأبواب.

ويقول الباحثون :مركب PUM يمكن أن يكون لعبة مغيّرة بقتل البكتيريا، إذ يتميز باحتمالية أقل 10 مرات لتحريك مقاومة المضادات الحيوية من المضادات الحيوية التقليدية.
