دراسة : المدن الصاخبة قد تسبب مشاكل في القلب

كشفت دراسة حديثة عن أن ضجيج المدن قد يسبب مشاكل في القلب، وذلك بعدما وجد العلماء أن الأصوات الصاخبة غير المتناسقة في الشوارع المزدحمة تؤدي إلى عدم انتظام ضربات القلب.

فقد وجد باحثون من جامعة نوتنغهام ترنت البريطانية أن التغير المستمر في الضجيج -حتى عند مستويات منخفضة- له تأثير فوري واضطرابي على أنماط معدلات ضربات القلب الطبيعية للمشاركين في الدراسة.

ويقول الفريق إن النتائج التي توصلوا إليها تضيف إلى مجموعة متزايدة من الأبحاث التي تبين أن محيطنا اليومي يمكن أن يملك آثارا سلبية واسعة على الصحة على المدى الطويل.

وفي الدراسة -التي نشرت نتائجها في دورية "إنفورميشن فيوجن"- طُلب من متسوقين ارتداء مستشعرات متنقلة للجسم لمراقبة معدلات ضربات القلب لديهم أثناء تحركهم في أرجاء وسط مدينة نوتنغهام لمدة 45 دقيقة.

ويقول الباحث إيمان كانجو من قسم "مدرسة العلوم والتكنولوجيا" في جامعة نوتنغهام ترنت إنهم اكتشفوا أن التغيرات السريعة في الضجيج تسببت باضطراب سريع لمعدل ضربات القلب الطبيعي للمشاركين.

وأضاف أنه إذا تكرر هذا النمط بانتظام فإن هناك خطورة أن يؤدي ذلك إلى مشاكل في القلب والأوعية الدموية.

ورغم أنه من المعروف أن التعرض المتكرر لضغوط خارجية مثل الضجيج والتلوث والمناطق المزدحمة يمكن أن يؤدي إلى أمراض جسدية على المدى الطويل، فإن هذه الدراسة هي الأولى التي تستخدم مستشعرات في محاولة لوضع نموذج للأثر قصير الأجل التي يمكن لبيئات المدينة أن تسببه على جسم الإنسان.
