قال مصدر عائلي أن الفقيه الشاب الدرديري ولد باب ولد معط قد خضع لعملية جراحية في انواكشوط خلال الساعات الماضية، ولم يوضح المصدر الذي أورد الخبر طبيعة الوعكة الصحية التي استدعت إجراء عملية جراحية مستعجلة لهذا الفقيه الشاب الخلوق، إلا أن المصدر أكد نجاح العملية، واستقرار حالته الصحية لله الحمد، ويعتبر  الفقيه الدرديدي من أبرز فقهاء البلد، وهو نجل الفقيه الراحل باب ولد معط رحمه الله.
